The project is a classic customer order and shipment tracking system with a number of custom features. It is being written as a VB.NET Windows Forms application employing [login to view URL] for connectivity to a SQL 2000 database via a web service. The schema has already been defined and a detailed project requirements document has been written.
The initial scope of the work required is simple:
A couple of linked forms that can verify input against business rules, display error messages or update/insert into the database through a "data class" that can be used either locally on the client or converted quickly into a web service.
The initial project is fairly simple but there are ALOT of these and other enhancements to be done such as printing mailing labels, connectivity to Outlook, an Analysis Services piece, data imports and exports, reports etc.
I would like some people who would be interested in takin on the initial forms, do a good job then work with me on an exclusive bid for continuing work on the project with increasing bonuses for meeting deliverable dates.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4)Create a VB.NET Windows form (700X500p) that displays an editable grid of a non-editable database element(stored procedure generated rowset). Updates to the rowset will be via stored procedures. All database access will be via a web service. Clicking on a row of the grid will bring up a dialog form
5)A tabbed dialog form with individual fields for editing the data elements(say 10 fields, a "Customer" form with name, address etc.) Form can Edit, add and delete a customer.
6) A "products" tab on the above form, linked to the "Customer" the other form represents. The products tab contains an editable grid for adding, updating and deleting products for this customer. The grid will have an editable "product" field that will be a drop down box whose elements are populated from a stored procedure. The stored value will be an "id" not the displayed product name on the form. A multi column drop down box is desired.
