VB.NET 2005 version to Automate opening / Closeing programs down in a Windows Environment.
VB.NET 2005 program
DESC:? to automate opening/closeing programs down
Enviro:? All windows operating systems
? #1 When minimized would go to the sys-Tray
? #2 Grid like system that would allow the user to browse for a program allow command line parameters with a OPEN TIME & CLOSE TIME.? Each line would represent a seperate program.? ? When a particular open/close time appears the program would check to see if it is in the approprate state and open/close the program.?
? EXAMPLE:? if the program is already open the program SHOULD NOT attempt to re-open the program a second time and same if the program is already close there would be no program to close.
? There should be the ability for the user to CLOSE this program.? Set a SINGLE password in order to get into the program.? The PW can be as simple as a button that when clicked ASKS for the password to use, confirms the PW and then uses that pw until the user clicks the button to deactive the PW feature and then once re-clicked it would ask agian for the PW the user would use.? CONFIRMATION of the pw would be required upon setting it.? a DEFAULT password of Admin1DM should be hard-coded to gain entrance to the program as a BACKDOOR entrance.

--THIS WILL BE ADDED AS WELL FOR OTHERS TO SEE on the bid form:-- <i have="" had="" several="" questions="" so="" this="" is="" a="" global.="">#1 YES VB.NET is my preference. #2 Yes I would like to be able to have the ability to BROWSE to the program to be selected. #2a I DO NOT CARE if the user adds command lines on the same grid area or in a seperate location #3 No I do not need a calendar for Dates only time would be entered and everything is presummed daily. #4 Would like the option / ability to activate it as a service within windows. #5 The PW can be saved in the DB/XML/INI file but would like it a VERY SIMPLE encryption is fine. I think I would prefer XML format. #6 The program would be installed on a few computers BUT the user settings DOES NOT have to be able to transfer (of course XML would not matter) #7 ONLY users that know the PW would be allowed to enter the program IF THE Password is activated. #8 YES users can delete/update a program into a grid. #8a NOTE: I do not mind if IF they have to delete the item and create a new one but being able to update is nice. #9Installer: Simple windows .NET installer is fine and would prefer it.</i>
