I want a desktop application that runs on windows - java or dotnet will do, I want to enter the records of every staff in my office including their thumb print and photo. I will like to use secugen or digital persona fingerprint reader.
Every month, There will be an audit of who is present and who is not. the staffs will have to confirm their presence by entering their fingerprint into the system, when they do, their records will display and be confirmed by clicking on a button.
After each months audit, the list of staffs who participated in the audit by way of inputting fingerprint will be downloaded. The audit can last for a week or more for as long as it takes, at the end, there will be an "END AUDIT" button which marks the end of the auditing session.
I will like the software to run on mysql database and be a desktop application, but if you have something better, its ok.
there will be an admin and user access role / privilege, admin can edit staff info, start new audit, end the audit, create other users/admins while user can only administer a thumb print entry during an audit process.
This is aimed at knowing workers who really exist from ghost workers.
That means the software has to detect the camera and thumbprint device (secugen/digitalpersona or other SDK you have will be fine)
Please let me know if there is something you do not get right, it is needed urgently.
