We are a small business whose website is having problems with our online courses that require an automated response with a password to be sent to people who register on the website so that they can access certain courses/info. Our site is hosted on a UNIX server through Bizland.
Some of our courses are supposed to be password protected with an interface that makes people purchase access via paypal, and then automatically gives them permission to access the area by providing a password once the transaction is verified. these pay- for pages seem to be working fine. However, our free courses which require registrationa and passwords to access are not working. These courses are free but require individuals to register, after which they are supposed to receive an automated email with a password so they can access the free info. The error message I can see says that I should check the log, but I don't know what that means.
We need help making the automated emails with passwords work so that customers can access the courses/info. Bizland tech support told us our problem is as follows: "It looks like you have experienced the issue due to your scripts. Please check the host name which you have set in the configuration file. Also, check your sendmail program."
Once we have agreed on a bid we can provide you with username and password to our Bizland account at [[login to view URL]][1].
We would like a coder to solve these problems. Coders may also be needed in the future to help update and maintain our company's website.
