I have a small Perl script that worked fine on a UNIX server, but does not work on an NT server. It probably needs only a small adjustment by someone who knows Perl programming and who is familiar with NT servers. Description: When someone clicks on the entrance button on the first page of a website, the Perl script sends them to the home page of one online store. When a second person clicks on that button, they are sent to the home page of a second online store, and so on. Since I uploaded the website on the NT server, the "entrance" button does not function as a hyperlink at all. I also have an administrative screen to control the script. Again, everything was working perfectly and I do not want to have the script rewritten, only adjusted so it works. You can download a zip file that contains the entire Perl script and a readme file that tells how it should work. The file is at: [login to view URL]
## Deliverables
The perl script needs to work perfectly as described above and the administrative screen also needs to work perfectly. The coder will need to place the script on the site and test it. I will give the necessary information to access the site to the coder that I choose.
## Deadline information
I want to get this done as soon as possible. This is the second time I posted this. Apparently it did not go through properly the first time.
