Camp Activity Scheduler

This project is to create a new Camp Activity Scheduler to manage the assignment of campers to activities, counselors to activities that they are qualified to teach or assist, as well as manage Camper’s history and awards. The camp currently has been using an Activity Scheduling program that was created for and will only run on Windows98, which has many limitations and issues. This new Camp Activity Scheduler will be web based and allow Camp Administrators and approved Counselors secure online access to manage schedules, activities, awards and reports. Functionality Overview The Camp Activity Scheduler will be used to assign and manage the activities that Campers requests during registration by: 1. Setting up/creating activities and other settings in the Camp Activity Scheduler from a Activity manager 2. Importing the Campers Selections and Counselor information from 3rd party CSV each term. 3. Create a Master Schedule in the Camp Activity Scheduler using imported data, Activities selections, and other parameters. 4. Assign Counselors to activities based on their skills. 5. Counselors and Administrators assign the Campers awards during the camp session to be kept in the Camper’s history. 6. Administrators create reports for the management of Activities, Counselors, Awards and Cabin Assignments
