hi, can we discuss? I think you want something like this as it is hapenning on freelancer site. When new jobs are being posted they are reflected on the users screen based on on some filter. This could be done by some simple ajax coding as you have asked. The ajax query will look for updates in database table and if any result then it will update the user's screen (* user have to be logged in or on the page where this code will run). And the new records will be prepended/appended. This will again be decided whether ur using pagination on user screen or not. If ur using pagination then the records need to be prepended and some pagination modification to be done. and so on.. lets better be discuss on it
