We offer organizations and individuals the opportunity sell our lower than resale gemstones and jewelry. When an organization or an individual gives out a passphrase or a number to people, that person or persons can create an account, buy items at a discounted price and the original organization or member gets $5 commission per item (or whatever price we desiginate). We want it to show the items retail price but also a member price. As soon as they enter the number or passphrase, all items in their cart are the "member" price. We then want the organization or individual to be able to log in and see how much their commissions are up to, be able to request their money or use it to purchase things in the store.
Our storefront will also be a full fledged retail store for others to purchase these items but when they checkout they get the retail price but also see a membership price and an option to become a member but their first purchase would have to go to an already existing organization or member. So somewhere on the side, there would be a list of charities or members and a brief bio from which they can choose but once they are a member, they will recieve their passphrase or number that they can pass out and hopefully make a commission off of.
We don't need any script installation just instructions on what needs to be replaced or editted and would like it modular based so we can turn on or off any options we choose. We are locked into any cart software but are trying things with osCommerce and phpNuke but we can't seem to get the functionality that we are looking for. Also, we would like it somewhat easy to use both on the client end and the administration end. We would be open to other cart software such as zend cart or cube cart as long as we can enter items, photos, shipping, tax options, etc.
We have a phpnuke template that we would like to use but it is written for phpnuke but we installed osc4nukeMS but because of the more than adequate functionality of phpnuke, it may have over complicated the project. We would like the news part so we can update news about the site or new charities that have joined.
Anyway, we hope to find someone interested. Our budget will increase with the progress of the project. We would like something to show the investors by Thanksgiving.
