call webistrano deploy job from command line

I would like a Ruby on Rails developer familiar with capistrano or webistrano to take a look at the websitrano code - [login to view URL] and provide me with a command line that can be called from bash to run a specific deploy task. The reason I am doing it like this rather than using capistrano directly, is that I want to record the outout of the deploy job in the webistrano system. ## Deliverables I am looking for a command line wrapper for webistrano - I know that sounds backward but I want the job to be included in the webistrano history log. Ongoing deploys are going to be done with webistrano.
