Last week my phpBB forums module got hacked or something and users were no longer able to read the posts. My hosting provider couldn't fix it, so I looked around and decided it was time to upgrade the module to see if that helped.
Well, the new module needed the newer version of php-Nuke to run on (I was on v 6.8), so I decided to intall the upgrade through Fantastico (my server comes with a cPanel admin interface).
I did that and then my subscribers were locked out of my website completely. After I was done panicking, I went back in and re-installed the backup of the 6.8 version.
That at least made it so the the subscribers could get back in and view the site, but I am locked out of a couple of places on the admin menu. I can't change or add anything in the Content module or the NuCalendar module, both of which need to be updated this week (like Wednesday!).
All the errors on the admin are pointing to this: in **/home/gngc/public_html/home/includes/[login to view URL]** on line **286**
All the errors on the forums are pointing to the [login to view URL] file, lines 25, 26, 27, or 50.
I have a feeling that those problems are all code errors that can be easily fixed by someone who knows what they are doing (clearly not me!!).
There are a couple other small bugs that need to be fixed as well, so here's what I'd like done:
1. Fix the forums so that the viewing and posting all work correctly.
2. Small bug: fix bug on forums so that the email notices for Private Messages and Watched Threads or topics and Responses to your post are sent (currently they only go out about 10% of the time maybe).
3. Fix admin section so I can use all the admin features and they all work correctly.
4. Fix the upgrade to the new version of Nuke (currently both 6.8 and the new version are on the site).
5. Uprade the phpBB module and get that in operational, working order.
