Code Framework for Affiliate Sales/Backend System

**Project:** A system to track affiliate sales or distribute sales to existing affiliates, record the sale, manage affiliates, affiliate backend system for processing their own orders and viewing statistics. This will be used on a 300-400 page content site. ## Deliverables **Project:** A system to track affiliate sales or distribute sales to existing affiliates, record the sale, manage affiliates, affiliate backend system for processing their own orders and viewing statistics. This will be used on a 300-400 page content site. **Technology:** PHP/MySQL **Sales:** There is only one product and the sale will be a simple form with Name, Address, Phone, Credit Card Information. The sale is recorded and assigned to an affiliate by one of the means described below. The CC information will be stored encrypted in the database. Affiliate is notified via email that a new sale has occurred. **Sales Assignment:** Affiliates will be given a tracking URL to drive traffic to the site. This will in-turn set a cookie on the visitors browser. Both a session cookie and a persistent cookie should be set. Any traffic from this tracking URL that generates a sale will be credited to that affiliate. (Directed Sales). If the site visitor came to the site without a tracking URL, the sale will be assigned to an affiliate using a "round-robin" method described below. (Assigned Sales). **Affiliate Backend:** Affiliate can login, view orders, change status of order (new, processing, complete) or update their own information. They should also be able to view statistics: Site Visits by day (Natural and Tracking URL), Site sales by day (number of sales, directed and assigned), Affiliate Visits by day (from tracking URL), Affiliate sales by day (Directed and Assigned). **Round-Robin:** Initially, each affiliate will be put into a list. Each time a "Assigned Sale" occurs, this system will look for the next affiliate in this list and assign the sale. An affiliate can be in this list more than one time. This allows the admin to reward affiliates with a higher percentage of the sales. **Affiliate Sign-Up:** There will be a form for the affiliate to sign-up to the site. The sign-up will not be effective until approved by the Admin. **Admin Backend:** The admin can view/edit all sales, view/edit all affiliate information, view all statistics, and manage the "round-robin" list. **System Size:** Initially, the system will have 50 affiliates and receive a very high load of visitors. The number of affiliates will grow to over 1000. If you choose to leverage an existing open source project, please state that in the your bid. This system is not that different from a standard Affilate system except in how the sales are distributed and that fact that it doesn't rely on any external software to actually record the sale. We would like to start on this project next week. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Seller must provide support if necessary to install code on Buyers server. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
