Agent Contact Page

This is going to be a very simple project for someone who knows what he or she is doing. I'm sure there are many free PHP scripts on the web that do exactly what I need, but I just don't feel like hunting and altering. My laziness is your gain! When the customer enters my page, a PHP script will detect where he came from. It will then write a cookie to the user's computer with this information. I will then have a contact page also written in PHP that will check for the cookie and if it exists it will display the proper contact information. (based on the link he used to navigate to my site) If there is no cookie, it will display default contact information. All the details are in the full description. Happy bidding! ## Deliverables Here's what I need: As an entertainer, I have a number of agents that promote my services on their web site and include a link to my web site. The problem is, many times a customer will find my page through an agent but then try to contact me direct to save the agent commission. I like to combat this by having a simple PHP script written. Here's my idea. Each one of the agents that represents me will have a link to my site that will contain a "Agent ID" within the URL. When the customer enters my page, the PHP script will detect which agency he came from. It will then write a cookie to the user's computer with this information. I will then have a contact page also written in PHP that will check for the cookie and if it exists it will display the proper contact information for that agent. If there is no cookie then it will display default contact information. The reason for the cookie is to ensure that if the customer tries to locate me through a search engine at a later date, he will still be presented with the original agent's contact information. The cookie would stay on the customer's computer for specific length of time or until it was overwritten by another cookie. (from another agent's site for example) One final detail. The agent contact information will include the categories of name, agency, phone, e-mail and web site. These should all be separate variables, since I may use different parts of the agents contact information in different areas of my web site. One example would be in my FEES section. If a customer is coming to my site from an agent, they should not have access to my fees, since the agent sets his own pricing. With the script, I can simply have a regular fee page when the cookie does NOT exist (they didn't come from an agent), but when the cookie does exist it will say something like, "Please contact AGENT_NAME for information on fees." I would like this script done so that it's easy for me to add more agents as a list grows. I don't think my MySQL is necessary, just an array within the script that I can alter, should be fine. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux, cross-browser.
