This should be easy for anyone who's set up linux email before. All you have to do is get it so I can send mail through my linux box. I have it to where you receive mail on it, but not send it. That's where you come in. I have a simple IMAP email server which I'm setting up using the directions from: [url removed, login to view] And: [url removed, login to view] I have it all working except the SASL demon isn't allowing a connection. Here's what I get in the mail log when I try to send mail: warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: Connection refused warning: SASL authentication failure: Password verification failed warning: localhost[127.0.0.1]: SASL PLAIN authentication failed: generic failure Your job is to get it so I can use outlook to send mail through SASL. Here are some relevant docs: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] Probably there's something very simple that needs to be changed and it will start accepting connections. Happy bidding!
