create sliding images with dhtml or flash

write dhtml code that upon mouseover of the top level navigation or any text link on the page, will trigger individual parts of the decorative images on the left and right edges of the page to slowly slide up an down.

## Deliverables

the decorative images to be triggered to slide up and down are [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]

however the images should not move as a whole. once the project is accepted, each image will be split in approx 5 (rightside) to 8 (leftside) parts, and these parts should slide independently, with slightly different movements (speed and direction). i will provide these split images to you.

i'm looking for a gentle sliding effect perhaps with a soft bounce. the menu on [url removed, login to view] could serve as a reference, but i haven't come across any sites that do exactly what i'm looking for lately
