Alphabet Letter Photos into Drag and Drop UI

I work with a client who specializes in Alphabet Photography. She takes pictures of objects that resemble letters and then builds words with it per customer request. She has a basic website but is in need of an upgrade as far as the functionality of the site. I am looking for two things for the site in this job. The Current site runs on a VPS with linux. It is running My SQL and has PHP enabled. 1) A Gallery of the photos which can be "drag and dropped" to build words from the photos on the site. A good example of this would be here - http://www.letter-photo.com. You are able to build a word of your choosing and also select individual letters to make your word as personal as possible. I would like a Gallery UI built very similar to this. 2) E-commerce - From the example: [login to view URL] you can also notice an E-commerce integration with the drag and drop gallery UI interface. The cost and total dynamically update if you change your letter. I would also like this feature to the gallery.
