I’m having trouble adopting AJAX techniques. I’m looking for someone who feels comfortable with AJAX options in a php/mysql environment. To avoid reloading the page, should I be using dojo toolkit, prototype, sajax, something else or nothing else? Perhaps there are coding changes to my style or algorithms that should be made. I’m looking for someone who can point me in the right direction and explain why that is the right direction from where I am.
Because I am having so much trouble getting started, I would like to pay you to make the coding changes to avoid page reloading to the attached page. I’m looking for commented code so I can use it as a personal tutorial hopefully scaffolding me up to a level where I can make similar changes to similar pages.
I’m attaching my checkout page. Currently a user chooses a country. If they choose USA, the page is reloaded and USA states appear in the states list box. Also the shipping options are set to domestic options or if the country is anything else, to other shipping options. The complicating element is that not only is the form updated, but the selected options are being saved to the database each time a change and reload happens.

Regards,
