Add Ecommerce and email management features for 'daily deal' site that uses php/javascript

I am adding 'Daily Deals' to my website, which can generate hundreds of purchases in a given day. My site uses php and javascript. I am looking for someone who has done this same or very similar project before.
MY site currently interacts with a number of databases (I have coded it), but I need help with the ecommerce side. I don't need a shopping cart. I only need the ability to verify credit card/paypal transactions properly (validate cards, handle returns, proper security,etc..), AND a way to manage the many emails that are generated as a result. I am handling all the other customer information related to the deals on my own (ie tracking the deal details, adding the ability for them to print their deals etc.). It is the ACTUAL PAYMENT and follow-up email parts which I need help with. For ex: how much coding should be mine, how much should I rely on an outside application, and can I use my host email accounts, or is that not advisable, etc..?
In addition, I will have customer accounts to which I will be sending emails according to their preferences with a nightly task. These need to be categorized/managed in a way that will be easily manageable, and which is not interpreted as 'spam' by email filters. I will also need guidance on how to send emails with html inside to give them an attractive appearance.
The solution may well be just to integrate a commercial product off the shelf, or use a third party provider. This is where I need an expert. I need consulting-guidance first, and coding only if necessary.
These are the last steps before I take the product to market, but they are critical and I want to do them the right way. Perhaps they are easily integrated, but I need someone who knows the ins and outs because this is starting off as a one-man operation and so it must be automated as much as possible.
