AJAX Vote Buttons for Lyceum/Wordpress Blogs

We are setting up a blog-hosting service using a multi-blog version of Wordpress called Lyceum. ([login to view URL]) It is a fork of Wordpress and works like "WordpressMU" ([login to view URL]), the software behind [login to view URL] (that's dot-com, which is distinct from [login to view URL] which is where you can download the standalone blog software). What we need is this: an voting button/ability for each post in the blogs of users. It's like [login to view URL] (also: [login to view URL], the opensource clone of Digg) where users/visitors can vote on posts in the blog posts of the members of our site that's running Lyceum. Votes can either be single votes (like Digg), binary (yes/no like [login to view URL]) or 5-star. There are already plugins for these, but the problem is that they're either for other software (like Pligg) or for the main singl-user Wordpress backend. What we need is to apply this ability into the posts in the blogs in our site (again, using Lyceum), so users can vote, and the vote will count towards the total counters in the database. For example: 1) Let's say our site's name is [login to view URL], and it is a blog-hosting service running Lyceum and provides free blogs to members. 2) Members sign-up and start blogging 3) Users who read the various members' blogs can vote on their posts, showing they like them or not. Voting is AJAX-based so users can vote without leaving the blog post's page, and can vote on numerous blog posts if they're listed in the same page (such as the member's blog homepage). 4) Each vote is added and tallied to the totals in the counters in the database 5) The highest votes (according to a set threshold) are eligible for inclusion in our blog hosting site's homepage. Also, it will take advantage of the blog permissions so that members' posts can immediately be eligible for homepage status if site "moderators" voted on it, even if it hasn't reached the minimum threshold of vote quantity yet. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
