Customize an Existing Wordpress Theme

Hello, This project is to build a CUSTOMIZED WP DIRECTORY THEME Basically, in order to launch a new service directory I have created a new design for an already existing Wordpress theme, and need a freelancer who is strong in Wordpress to integrate my design (or possibly create a child theme), make other changes I require, add some functions/remove others. There are two parts to this project: 1. DIRECTORY THEME - For the directory itself, I already own a licensed version of Vantage (a directory theme from APPTHEMES). It includes many useful functions by design, but lacks a few functions that I want to add. Also, it is very poorly designed aesthetically and needs a serious facelift. 1. DESIGN - I have created a new basic design for the home page and internal pages that need to be integrated into this Vantage directory theme to change the look and feel. I want the ability to create new pages on the fly which of the same design (as in any standard WP theme). An example of how I want my new customized version to look and feel is at [login to view URL] These are NOT my sites, just examples. I will give you my specific URL and design on the next round. Important features: The important features to note are that the directory categories and attributes are moved to a vertical column on the left, and the user has the ability to compare listings against one another. I have my own design and color scheme, so this is just an example. The main objectives will be to: 1. Move the categories and attributes to the left vertical column, as in the example. 2. Create the ability to compare 3. Recreate the layout similar to the example given (my own design is nearly the same) 4. Incorporate my design and colors into the theme. 5. Allow admin to rank each listing numerical;y. Remove the ability to have listings reviewed by others. 6. Enable listing owners to claim their own listings. 7. I will need a few forms to be created, including a custom signup form similar in quality and design to [login to view URL] 8. We need a custom interface for users, which allows them to to make certain selections (category, attributes, et., based on their selected level of service). 10. Although I am creating all the content, your English skills must be excellent, as I do not wish to waste time correcting your spelling, grammar, etc. 11. This website will be built on my dedicated server. In the interest of confidentiality, I will share my URL, colors and design, and offer more specific details once I feel you are responsible and qualified to handle this project. Be assured, there is little more than to be done than what I've stated above. I am working with a budget of around $500 - $1000 USD and will not go higher for this first phase.
