Design Theme, Implement and Deliver custom Magento 1.7.x

Scope: Design & Build Website Magento 1.7.x Background: We have a fully operating Magento 1.4.2 installation. with various webshops and different themes. We don't want to loose any (product) related data, however we need a fresh install since we want to change from a Magento version fixed theme to a non fixed version theme. Deliverable 1: The example as in the attachment is only to show some style guidance, as well as layout guidance. Style to design is vintage/romantic/grunge with a modern twist. Responsive Design, HTML5&CSS3 Design under Intellectual Property Protection 1 homepage 2 menu's (change standard magento layout AND add menu "popout") Menu "popout" will pop up in browser in center front of page and background will fade) 1 category page with 2 columns 1 product page with 2 columns 1 cms page for text 1 onestep checkout design Deliverable 2: - Migrate Magento 1.4.2 SQL DB to 1.7.x In the past we did not have our menu structure as "a normal shop"; top cat / subcat / subsubcat WITH all products in their parent directories. Therefore the menu was only accessible in the lowest category (just check by clicking a top cat in the menu. We now need the parent directories to be filled with all the products in the parent categories. Please check attachment "[login to view URL]" 1. the main/parent folder has no products. 2. at present i.e. subfolder #1A (parent subfolder) has no products. We need to have all products 'copied' form subfolder#2a -> subfolder #1A (parent subfolder), and products in subfolder#2f -> subfolder #1C etc.etc.etc. After that all products from subfolder #1C (parent subfolder) -> main/parent folder, and subfolder #1B (parent subfolder) -> main/parent folder etc.etc.etc. We will have 6 parent directories. I understand this can be done by just export/import magento function, so it wouldn't take much time and effort. Data to be migrated: all product data (incl. images), standard and custom attributes, categroies, clients and history. Deliverable 3: - Implement responsive design/theme as described above - Fully working Magento 1.7.x - Add 6 shops, copy theme for 6 websites (individual themes will be adjusted/redesigned in CSS/images) by us - Order/Invoice/Creditnote numbers will be fully adjustable to our needs - Incl. onestep checkout - Custom design (t.b.d.) packingslip/invoice/credit note/transactional emails We will provide a testserver. You will work on testserver, after testing site and functionalities the whole installation will be tranfered to the designated server. We need you to give us 3 milestones/prices based on the deliverables: 1. Design, will be released as soon as design is approved, 2. Migrate "old" data to new db and show working in front-end 3. Build and test, when all is fully tested and working on designated server project is considered to be closed and remaining funds will be released.
