To build a small commercial website. The website allows users to join interested groups. The workflow is fairly simple. Major functions of the site: For users: register/signin/signout/browse a group/join a group/drop a group/modify user account/a common forum. For site admin: signin/signout/add, modify and remove a group/add, modify and remove a user/add and remove a user from a group/newsletter management/common forum management. Project requirements: 1. well designed, user friendly pages 2. a good content management system, must be easy to use for non-experienced programmers. 3. a simple logo. 4. all user, group info and forum are stored in DB 5. signin/signout are SSL secured (SSL server is ready) 6. all source code files must be properly commented so that future extension is possible. 7. a brief description of all source files. The basic layout of the site is mostly clear, but expert advice is needed. Fields/records/tables of the DB is ready. Development tools: PHP+MySQL. I have a hosting place available that has PHP, MySQL and SSL ready. The hosting site will be the testing platform. Milestones of the project (after the bid is offered): 1. requirement : 2 days 2. development : 6 days 3. testing : 2 days ** note that before the bid is offered, both the shortlist coder and I will need to agree on exact dates of milestones and the project must follow the agreed-upon dates strictly since.** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
