We are an IT consulting organization. One of our clients is interested in procuring an Application Service Provider solution from us. We need: 1. Help in selecting a hosting company based in USA. 2. Selection of technology architecture. 3. Prototype development for doing a demo to our client. 4. Full development and ongoing maintenance and support. Over view of the application: 1. Primarily there are business entities - Client, Project, Vendor and Voxellent (Solution Provider). 2. Voxellent provides the ASP services to client. 3. Client procures technical consultants from vendors on T&M basis - hourly or daily billing. 4. Client assigns consultants to projects. 5. Using our solution, client should be able to define new vendors along with contact information and any service agreements. 6. Client can provision website access to a vendor. 7. For each consultant procured by client, corresponding vendor updates set of documents predefined by the client. Application should provide facilities to define the required documents. 8. Reports: Client would like to get ad-hoc reports such number of consultants by vendor, compliance of a vendor etc. Selection Criteria: 1. Prior experience (with references)in developing: a) ASP based apps b) Document management and workflow apps 2. Technical architecture 3. Cost of development, maintenance and hosting 4. Over all quality of proposal. Sample screen shots with process flow and data flow diagrams will create a good impression. 5. Good documentation of desing, code, user manuals etc. Please include the payment terms in the proposal. We prefer milestone based payments.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
