Continue work on the audio player. 1. Update the player to use MySQL database rather than text files for storing phrases and associating them with the audio. 2. Improve upload mechanism on this page to show progress: [login to view URL] 3. Add support for bookmarks to the player (see below). 4. Add support for slow and fast speed playback. If you prefer, can split these into smaller individual projects. Bookmarks: Currently, a user can click on the player controls to play/stop/pause, and control the audio. Modify the existing player to add support for bookmarks as follows: Store time based bookmarks associated with a particular audio file to a file. A bookmark can be a time-only, specific type, or have descriptive text associated with it. Modify the player interface to include 2 ways to add bookmarks: 1) Keyboard short-cut that works in IE, FF, and Safari 2) Visual control (such as a small button) that the user can click on to set a bookmark Modify the player interface to include 2 ways to review and edit bookmarks: 1) Show small dots below the player progress control to indicate the location of each bookmark. 2) Show a list of bookmarks; the user can click on the list and go to the bookmark; playing starts automatically at that point. The user can also delete or edit an existing bookmark. The user should be able to show/hide bookmarks and the bookmark dots and list displays. The admin should be able to disable bookmark support completely. The functionality should mainly be done in HTML/PHP with as minimal Flash as possible.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
