Browser Helper Object for Torrent Modification/Upload

The purpose of the Internet Explorer BHO is to capture, modify, and possibly upload all .torrent files. Basically, when the BHO is enabled and the user attempts to download a torrent file, either Open or Save As …, the BHO will, just before the download is finished: 1) Pause IE 2) Modify the .torrent to ADD the tracker <[login to view URL]>* 3) Store the new .torrent in memory 4) Resume IE (a this point the user’s BitTorrent client will open the new torrent) 5) Obtain the SHA1 for the torrent 6) POST to <[login to view URL]> the username, password, and SHA1 7) Based on the answer from #6, POST the .torrent to <[login to view URL]> or do nothing 8) Clear the .torrent from memory The BHO will have a visible toolbar with the following graphical buttons: - Settings - Enabled/Disabled - Upload - Account Please see the attached zip file for details. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. Uninstall capability has to also be included. NSIS is desired, but not required. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Internet Explorer 6 and later. Optional: Firefox.
