I work for a software company that develops Facility Maintenance Tracking software. People create Work Orders in our system to track work that has been done or needs to be done. The software is written in Visual Basic and ties to an SQL database we currently have a .net application that runs on Pocket PCs. We would like to develop an application for the Blackberry handhelds.
I need someone to write a webservice (WSDL) that will tie our database to MDS services MDS studio will us this to create the application to connect to the datasource. The project can include the complete application depending on price. Its up for suggestions.
The application
User will recieve a notice, he has a Work Order> he will then open the Work Order update the time he spent on the work order and then Complete the Work order. Pretty simple our database structure is very simple and properly labeled. i am just confused on the webservice end how to call the database.
