We have developed a chat room with another developer but the work is about 90% complete. There are only two issues that need fixing. The main one being the private messaging function. This is what the last developer said: 'The ChatData contains the COM module that connects the WebChat Server to your SQLServer 7.0 Database. It has been developed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 using ATL 3.0 library and Microsoft Data Access 2.6. The modules do not need any further improvment and it has proved to be reliable in all tests. It has all the requested functions. ChatServer contains the Win2000 Service that acts as the WebChat Server. It is fully developed and integrated with the SQLServer 7.0 Database and the WebChat Client. It has been entirely developed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and all that's left to do is to solve the problem that appears on some computers upon the request to start the service, and implement the disconnection of certain users upon Admin commands. It behaved excellent in all our tests by now, and I also hope that solving these problems won't be very dificult for a C++ Windows developer.' What I want is someone who can look through this and then complete the work, they have the assistance of the actual developer via email/IM as well.
