I need an Applescript or program for Apple Macintosh OSX Leopard operating system to take contents from a smart folder and display in a custom multi-column display container. ? The custom multi-column display container should be sizeable in window size and column size. ? Sizes should "stick" when opened again and/or be able to be set via settings. Columns should be sortable by clicking column headings. ? Clicking on any item should open the file. ? Right-clicking any item should open a contextual menu with options for 1) opening file in finder, 2) adding a label, or 3) editing existing or entering new spotlight comments. The number and type of columns should be selectable from among the typical column offerings of Finder (e.g., name, path, date created, date modified, size, type, etc.). ? Results in window should be able to be filtered by searching for parts of a name in the name column.
The smart folder contents SHOULD NOT BE copied into a normal Finder folder, because when searching the results listed the column structure will default to 3 columns of default size (which will be too small for what I desire to see).
