Advanced Hosting Interface Internet Explorer Object

This is a repost. The formerly awarded coder said it could be done and the project was nearly complete then he flaked out on me and I never heard from him again. I am need of a solution that can interface with the IE Object and give me access to the IDocHostShowUI and IDispatch interfaces to control downloading options in my Internet Explorer object. There is information about this using the WebBrowser control on the MSN site. <[login to view URL]> <[login to view URL]> This solution is needed for the Internet Explorer Object and _NOT_ the web browser control. If I am not mistaken the [login to view URL] plays a major role in this interface. The solution preferably will be a dll and be my next choice a type library. I have an existing Explorer object in a class module that I am very happy with and this solution would replace my class module. My class module is an IE object that raises the default IE events and provides for basic IE properties and methods without interfaces. What I am looking for exactly is per the first article above a combination of flags that indicate what can or cannot be downloaded or executed. This would include the running scripts, downloading images, and media types. So, the solution allows me to pull down a web page and optionaly not download graphics etc. The solution must also contain error trapping and will be used within a VB6 application. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
