The Specification, design and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management System Using Database technologies and ASP. Company A formed in June 2002 has currently 7 full-time members of staff. Based in xxxxxxxx, the heart of the East Midlands, the company has access to a wide range of suppliers and buyers. Company A is a “one stop drive-in car service and modifications company??, dealing with major and minor car mechanical Services. Compnay A also offers a host of services to its customers including MOT certification, Interior work including redesigning and upholstery (leather and Fabric) and the supply and fitting of wheels and tyres. In all two categories "Products and Services" • Problem/Opportunity Statement - At present Compnay holds a cutomer base of 100 clients. All Client informtion regarding Car - Address - contact deteails etc are held on index cards. arranged alhpabeticly. Over to past two years market growth has led an increase in competition. Compnay A clearly needs to be able to manage, integrate and analyse customer needs to survive in this competitive business. At present Compnay A believes a gap exists, in the way they currently manage their customers. With so many channels of communication such as text messages, email, mail shots and personal marketing calls Compnay X wants to be seen at the fore front in customer relationship and communication. The solution needs to take into account buying behaviour trends and how they can be used to develop marketing campaigns. With a current customer base of 110 it is essential to retain these customers as they are more likely to bring repeat business rather new customers. Although a PC is utilised at the workshop with the use of Microsoft Office, none of the customer records or service and product histories are computerised. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 1a) Database design considerations Primary keys, forgirn keys, , Normalastion 1 2 3, Entity relationship Diagrams, logical data models & entity descriptions, data flow models, process diagrams user dialogue diagrams . Physical data stroage consideration document CODASYL.....diagrams 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
