ASP.Net 2.0 and VB.Net textbox

We are looking at two textbox, one in ASP.Net 2.0 and one in VB.Net 2005 (Framework 2.0). These two textbox will be use to validate user entries and to show information. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) **The required inputs for the textbox are:** 1. Textbox types: We need 4 different textbox types (Numeric, Currency, Percentage and finally, a date type textbox. 2. Authorized values: We need to be able to specify a minimum and a maximum value that is allowed for the textbox. These values should be optional. These values should work with all the different textbox types. 3. Default value: We need to be able to specify a default value for the textbox that we could show on the form load. This default value is also optional. 4. Warning message: This is an optional string that is showed if the user input is invalid. 5. If the textbox type is numeric, currency or percentage, we should have the following features: 1. Negative allowed (true or false) - false should be the default value 2. The number of allowed decimals ??" 0 should be the default value 3. If negative values are allowed in the textbox, we should be able to specify the color of the number that will be used in the textbox. 4. If negative values are allowed in the textbox, we should be able to specify the number format (500,53) or -500,53 5. We should be able to specify the thousands separator (125 000) or (125,000) 6. We should be able to specify the decimal indicator (. Or ,) 7. We should be able to specify the currency symbol ($, £, …) <!-- --> 1. If the textbox type is date, we should have the following features: 1. We should be able to specify the length of the year (2 or 4 digits) 2. We should be able to specify the date separator (- or /) 3. We should be able to specify the date format (dmy, mdy, ymd, ydm) **The required functions of the textbox should be:** 1. Write_Formatted_Value(Input Value): The application give the non-formatted input value and this function show the formatted value in the textbox according to the textbox properties (number format, thousands separator, date format …) 2. Return_Unformatted_Value: This function should return the unformatted number in the textbox and it should be of a float type. For a date input, the returned value should be a SQL date format. 3. Valid_Textbox: This function should return true or false if the input by the user does not respect the specified constraints (allowed negative, min and max value, …) The function should return TRUE if there is no constraints on the textbox or if all the constraints have been met and FALSE if the is no user input or if there is a problem on one or more of the specified constraints. **Visual indicator:** If the Valid_Textbox function is FALSE, we should get a warning indicator to the left of the textbox. Also, the error message should be in the tooltip of the textbox. NB. All the letters and others characters should not be allowed in the textbox. In the ASP.Net version of the textbox, we must be able to have access to all events from the client side so the coder should do the proper scripts accordingly. ## Platform - Windows XP - Framework 2.0 - ASP.NET 2.0 - VB.NET 2005
