Our project is this: We have a task database for our customers, which we also use internally as a support system. We waste time everyday copying support emails into the tasks so that we have a record of them. We refer to our customers as 'agents' as they are estate agents. We want an ASP.NET system to automatically read the incoming emails that are sent to to a specified email address. If that email is sent from an email address in our 'agents' table it allocates a task against that 'agent'. It then sends a reply email confirming reciept of the email and ads a refernce into the subject line of the email. If the agent replies to that email the system can also read the subject line and append the new details from the email to the task by matching the refernce in the subject.

Basically we need an application from where the end user can see all the mails received for him. The system will automatically send a confirmation mail when the user receives a mail. Also the user can reply to the mail. Also there will be an admin screen where he can assign the customer to the end user. So if any mail came from the customer will be assigned to the assigned user.
