create visual effect that react to mic

I have this matrix led

and you can see how is being controlled at the comment, I have another one that is RGB led and is being controlled the same way.

I have the program and source code for it that I want to modified so it would react with the microphone, and it would display about 5 effects like in this video

the project is to just build on top of my program 5 effects that would react to the microphone, the program that i have was done with Visual C# 2010 Express
