Design a new .NET GUI for a browser-based game

We have an old browser-based game that we are converting to .NET, the interface does not look very user friendly, we would like someone to take a look at our old interface, and come up with a better design, then once that's approved, develop it. The GUI includes: A Chat component (this is the main piece of the game), an inventory, a character bio/stats section, a menu, a current location menu, and an area for movement (shops and locations). We want some good ideas on how all this stuff can fit in the game and to improve the look and feel. Show us some examples of some game GUIs that you created. We would need this implemented as well (Master Page and HTML).
