ASP.NET Gridview with Paypal IPN

I have an asp.net page, where I am using a Gridview control to pull and show product info from a MS SQL database. I added an additional column in this Gridview to add "Buy" button, which supposed to take people to the paypal shopping cart page after clicking on it. I converted the fields of this Gridview into templatefields. And then on 'Buy' field, I binded 'item name' and 'price' data with Paypal codes. Now I have 2 issues: 1) On the site, inside HTML, the paypal code gets translated into some weird variables. Like if I check 'viewsource' of this page, the paypal code looks like this (check how 'name' and 'id' parameters are showing).... <input type="hidden" name="GridView1$ctl04$amount" id="GridView1_ctl04_amount" value="44.50" /> 2) I also need to add IPN feature, where if a product is sold, a certain field in my database will autometically be updated. Hi, I hope you trying to acheive if end user click on "BUY" button then the page will be redirected to paypal checkout page, isn't it? Is my understanding correct? I can do this fix for you. also I can suggest you..you can add ahyperlink and then construct paypal url and then you will good to go. Thanks | Arup
