Hola tengo experiencia con aplicaciones en android, e integración con base de datos, también se requiere un servidor para almacenamiento de información. Honestamente no recomiendo appinventor. ya que algunas características no son tan moldeables. Espero te pongas en contacto y revisar tus necesidades saludos.
