Hello dear, I have already a lot of experience in image and video processing in mobile and windows applications, my experience also includes Driver fatigue detection using raspberry pi which in a matter of milli seconds determines if the driver is sleeping or not and alarm accordingly using OpenCV, Vehicle counting in the particular category they belong to on a high speed road, number plate recognition using OCR algorithm of openCV, face detection and recognition for attendance system of a school and patient management system of a medical system. I have master degree in electronics and my main expertise is in image processing. I also have demo module for heart rate monitor using smartphone camera. For algorithm, I have 2 method.1) using fft as u suggested 2) using autocorrelation which is requires less processing power. I can also providr detailed algorithm steps as well. My plan for developemny is to first build main module and then improve interface.
