Hello! I am a professional software developer with 20 years of experience in general software development and three years specifically with Android development. I have developed apps with very similar functionality to your requirements and I am quite confident that I can deliver this app to your satisfaction. I do have some questions for you about your requirements - specifically, what the app should do if the device does not have a data connection when it collects location data. Hello there! I believe I am a solid candidate because I have experience with the Android Location APIs since I've built multiple apps that relied on them. You can see some of them on my profile. I also have experience working with apps that run in the background and automatically launch at boot time because I had to implement it for my Reminders app. I have 3 years experience working on the Android platform and also have experience working on web applications.
