Hello
I am working on a project to develop a new application for the iPhone.
At this stage, we need a second opinion from an iPhone developer. All that this job requires is for you to:
* read a short brief on the project (couple of paragraphs)
* answer a few questions, fully, in paragraphs, on what you think the technology considerations are for the app.
For example, on hearing the brief, you wil be asked to consider if the app is possible, how difficult it will be to develop, can the iPhone technically handle it (including references to product specs etc), what you think it would look like as an end to end solution, what the major risks are from a coding point of view, expected costs, etc.
Therefore this is suited ONLY to a seasoned iPhone developer who has a few existing apps to their name already.
NOTE: This is NOT a project to develop the app, but looking for a tecnical OPINION on the project. No reference to the GUI is required, just the technology. You must be able to explain things in a way that a semi-technical person can understand and show urls of tech specs etc wherever possible. I'm fairly technical, but done nothing with Apple before.
You will be asked to sign a company NDA before starting. For a serious iPhone developer this is probably 30 minutes of work (so nice easy way to get some beer money!). You will also be automatically invited to bid on the programming phase of the project, when this comes around.
Hello,
I'm experienced in platform limitations (from iOS 3.1) and I can explain all the details to semi-technical person all the issues.
Please, check my portfolio or visit www.appdate.pl.
Best regards, David.
