Code Review: Intel XDK project location based project with cordova plugins

To start, I need a little help with this tutorial using Cordova plugins and Intel XDK in a location based augmented reality app.

Specifically: I am unable to access the camera viewfinder as background and would like someone to help find my mistakes and suggest improvements to maximize accuracy of location services
