Android Bluetooth Low Energy

I am an average programmer. I have been writing an application which reads values from a custom version of a Bluetooth Low Energy main board and then writes those values first to an internal database and then a cursor comes behind on an async task and writes those values to a CSV file to be sent off to a remote server. There are two things that make me unhappy with this application so far: 1. The speed at which the values are read from the BLE main board, sent to a message object and then recorded, is too slow. The app is reading 4 channels from the chip. Of the 4, I am recording 2. When reading from the chip it will read one channel at normal speed but the other channel is incredibly slow. I should be getting around 100-250 reads per sec. 2. The output of the app is in an incorrect format. I have literally tested every format I can think of and it is still not correct. I need the value to be formatted as such: 00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00 This way I can compare the data to a known device to be sure that the values are correct. This is also how we need to make sure that the main board is constructed properly. What I believe is that the portion of my Class which is reading and writing the BLE data, may need to be rewritten. It is too slow and the format of the data from the sensors needs to be changed. I do not need the entire app rewritten. For those of you whom do not comprehend, I do not want you to write an app for me. I do want however some one to help me correct this Class so that the app can function more efficiently and also output correct values.
