Blessing is a luxury customized gifts, chocolate and invitations business. It is open in 4 countries based on partnerships, thinking that the concept is not franchisable. Too much customization is a growth barrier and we would like to play around with the concept to make it suitable for a franchise. The four business units we cover are: 1-Baby segment: offering a big variety of baby giveaways in a very wide range of packaging styles, colors, accessories, paper textures. Around this we create a whole theme and display where we put the gifts with matching decorated chocolates. 2- Wedding segment: design wedding cards to match the wedding theme and colors, wedding giveaways in many packaging options, decorated chocolates and trays 3- Corporate segment: seasonal chocolate or non-chocolate based gifts for corporates' functions, staff and clients, in customized packaging 4-Chocolate: while chocolate falls under each of the above categories, the retail side of it (cash & carry) is still of importance. Is there a way that the Blessing business as a whole, or part of it, be a successful franchise?..
