I need to build a Samba Fileserver on Debian Jessie (Linux) that is authenticates its users against a Windows Active Directory. The Fileserver should be member of the active directory (no PDC or something, just member). The users of the domain should be able to access the shares with the same credentials as any other resource within the AD.
The whole set up should run inside a docker container but I think that wont be an issue.
I think I'm almost finish with this project but there is something that prevents users from login and I simply don't find the problem. I can join the domain. I can even see the user list but I don't see the groups.
So if you have good experience in this field and know what to do, please bid on this project.
The communication takes place via Google Hangout (Video Chat Screensharing). For security reasons I can not give you access to the servers but I'll share my screen with you so that we can do that together.
