For this activity: 1. Using AWS, create aVPC with a public and a private subnet; 2. Launch an instance of the W2008R2 with MS-SQL and IIS into the public subnet and into the private subnet. 3. Verify they work as desired; 4. Download copy of Siege for Windows (and Apache Bench if you wish to experiment) to the public instance; and download examples of specific webservers to the private servers. Install servers onto provate instances as presented and discussed in class lectures. 5. Run small scale test of Siege (with single fixed file) on all test server instances in the private subnet. Document all your activity using screenshots and text inserted into a Word document. Do not send in a bunch of individual screen captures. Place appropriate documentation into the project related dropboxes, or provide copies of relevant information submitted elsewhere. For this, document the AWS structure and key features of your benchmarking platform.
