Custom Module - Live Scores Ticker

I am currently developing a sports themed website using Joomla 1.5.12 for the CMS. The site makes use of the Mootools java framework. What I need is a very simple component + module package, that can combine to to provide me with a scrolling ticker to display live sports scores on the site. The basic functionality of these is: Component: 1. Allow me to add and edit links to external feeds that will supply the live sports scores. 1A. External feeds will be in either XML or RSS format. I can try to find only XML feeds if this is better. 2. Should be able to add a different feed for each sport (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, NCAA Womens Basketball). 2A. I sort of envision this as a list of sports with a text box next to each where I can paste in the url and click save. I am open to ideas though. 2B. I will most likely add other sports later, so keep the door open for a future upgrade when constructing the code, or if I can have the ability to add/remove sports, that would be even better. 3. Have the ability to publish/unpublish each feed so that I can turn off the feed for a sport that is in the off-season. 3A. Feeds that are unpublished will not be displayed in the ticker, as if they do not exist. Module: 1. I just need this in a module position at the top of the screen. I already have the position set, I just need a module I can publish in the position that will display the feed data in a ticker format. 1A. Must match the color/style/css of the rest of the site. 2. If possible, I would like to display a micro-logo for each league at the start of their section in the ticker, as a means of helping people identify when the ticker has started scores for a new sport. As an example of what I mean, please refer to: [login to view URL] Scroll down until you reach "Sports Ticker". This is pretty much the exact output display I am looking for, only with a different color scheme, of course. Viral: I would also like to use this ticker as a viral element. I would like to have a version of the ticker that I can give away for free. 1. The ticker stream of this version will be followed with "scores provided by mysite.com" 1A. I would prefer the url of that text to be linkable, but can live with plain text. 1B. This portion of the ticker should not be easily altered by someone who will use it on their site. 2. My personal version of the ticker should not contain this trailing text. 2A. My own version of the ticker should not be constructed in a way that it can be hijacked by analyzing my source code. 3. Viral version of the ticker does not need a component for editing feeds, it should just use whatever feed settings I have on the main site. Otherwise, it can point to preset feeds on my own site (e.g. [login to view URL]), but then I need to figure out how to pass the info from the original xml feed to my own feed. I am mostly concerned about hard coding a feed url into the viral version, only to have the address change later, so I'm trying to plan for that in advance. ***Please Note*** If the viral element is overly complicated, then feel free to suggest a more simplified alternative. If the viral element dramatically inflates the budget for this, then please bid for the full project, but send a comment or pm to let me know how much less it would be without the viral portion. I am trying to make this something others can use as well, but I have a budget to think about as well. Thank you in advance for bidding. I know that this sounds complicated with the level of detail that I have laid out, but what we're basically talking about is taking some xml feeds and parsing them into a display, so I don't think it's nearly as complicated as it seems. The main thing is that I want it done by someone who is experienced at putting together Joomla components and modules, preferably within the mootools framework.
