I need to generate a graphic similar to a radar chart or segmented target to represent a set of data.
The data will not be charted as points, but as filled areas in the set of 24 segments.
It will have four sections split horizontally and vertically, and six segments in each of these forming concentric squares at 45 degrees to the main axes.
The input data will be 24 named variables with values between 0 and 2.
0 should map to red, 1 to yellow and 2 to green.
We take "a" as the top right quadrant of the final graphic and move clockwise "a" to "d".
We number the segments moving outward from the centre "1" to "6".
The input variables will then be named as a1,a2,a3,a4,a5,a6,b1,b2,b3,b4,b5,b6,c1,c2,c3,c4,c5,c6,d1,d2,d3,d4,d5,d6
Output should ideally be in svg or png format.
Other formats considered with good justification!
Any external libraries used should not already have been announced as deprecated within the next 24 months!
Hope the description is sufficient! I'll try to reply to emails and make a decision as soon as I can.
I've never used this service before, so hope I don't step on any toes!

Hi,
Your project can be done using D3.js. The mockup provided can be replicated. The diagram will be an SVG object.
The data can be loaded and changed dynamically. The number/choice of colors can also be made dynamic.
Hey.
PHP dev here. Mad skills with native JS and jQuery. Can help you out.
Look, I know how to use <canvas>, just did a refresher job on it, but you need to make like a wireframe sketch of example graph, as it would really help me understand what is that you want exactly.
