Convert Java Applet to JavaScript Web App

Need some help converting a Java App I wrote to JavaScript. The java app basically gets user defined "Attributes" from a text file and runs an algorithm to get the users top 3 choices. I need to convert this Java Applet into a JavaScript Web App. I've been struggling a little with the conversion and need some help. I've included both the Java Source Code and the JavaScript Source Code that I've been working on.
