Update Payment Processor - replace MD5 with AES-256
Adclone is a custom, J2SE and JSP based web application. The code is a combination of proprietary (encrypted binary) libraries and locally developed code. The MVC model web application is built upon a customised version of the Apache Struts 1.1 libraries.
Our application includes a 3 Party Credit Card Payment workflow, which integrates with the Commonwealth Bank (CBA) CommWeb system. The existing implementation use MD5 Hash encoding for authentication. This needs to be updated to use AES-256 algorithms.
Integration Documentation and working sample code is provided by CommWeb. The documentation states the upgrade work should only take a couple of hours for a developer to implement.
Remote access will be provided to a working Windows Server via RDP. The environment will be set up to include the working Java 6 SE, Tomcat 5.5, and MySQL installations, along with the current (MD5 based) software. Ant build scripts can be used to compile the code and test quickly. Your preferred Java IDE or development tools can be installed locally as required.
