configure jenkins build and testing of eclipse RCP application (1960866)

I am looking for a contactor to setup a jenkins project for deployment and testing of an eclipse RCP application. The target app is currently in development. (I also have a separate project #1960900 to generate a skeleton for use in the CI build project, however it is OK to deliver this project with just template plugins from the eclipse PDE wizards) We are using the following technologies; jenkins for the CI server maven for build automaton sonar for code tests jenkins plugin to pull the code from github The requirements are 1. daily build each of the github branches (master, development, testing) 2. Build a single downloadable eclipse standalone 3. Build the components for the p2 updates site 4. Carry out spec work to determine what are the appropriate methods to auomate testing of a RCP pluing with UI contributions? 5. configure the CI system to "announce" the new releases via twitter, to the mailing list. (this is just a plugin from the jenkins installer) 6. provide email reports back to developers based on build failures ## Deliverables I think the project would be best structured into 3 stages. Where the key deliverable for this piece of work is to provide 1) and to make a document and some prototypes for configurations of 2) 1) to make a minimal viable configuration in jenkins, to build the plugin features update site and the standalone RCP application from the github skeleton project and to run basic build tests. 2) To research the options to provide the GUI testing, and integration with tools such as eclipse Tycho and maven 3) To continue the ongoing improvement of the CI build system... **"Tycho - Building Eclipse plug-ins with maven"** [login to view URL] ## Eclipse Tycho - Tutorial for building Eclipse Plugins and RCP applications <[login to view URL]>
