Book Cover Art

Design a digital book cover for a self-published book. The work is cross between "Batman" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Though we can discuss specific details on content, theme and tone during collaboration, overall I'm seeking dark, gritty realism, with a side of comic book. And really, who isn't? Experience isn't half as important as creative vision and a willingness to listen, speak and love the process of creative collaboration. This is also my first go round with this type of thing, so patience is a plus. It's probably worthy to note that this book is the first of a series of four (which I have already written). If our partnership works as fantasitically as I hope, there are three other books that will need shining. Simply put, I'm not just looking to find an illustrator, I'm looking for the one illustrator I can turn to. And who is this right, one? Some one who feels fulfilled with the act of creation itself, made whole by it. Someone who, upon reading what I've written, can produce an iconic spread born of their own creativity. In other words, I want to give minor direction, step back, and let myself be impressed.
