First off, I apologize because this description will be lengthy. I find it best for both parties.
The Type of Website needed:
NFL Daily Fantasy Sports Site that would offer (some content would be premium) tools, projections, articles, cheatsheets, daily picks by our staff, ...etc. I have been "trying" to build this site on my own. I have the Logo Banner and Small Logo, so you dont have to make that or any other graphic design.
How I thought the site would work (I am WAYYYY open to suggestions, lol)
HTML retrieving data scraped using "importhtml" in Google Sheets (no embedding) as a dynamic table that changes when Google Sheets changes. I want the HTML rows to do more than embedding can offer (e.g. ability for user to change projection amount for theirselves, ability to exclude row (not delete)...) . Site will need users to login to view premium content. Site could be built by you with maybe 4-6 pages. I can hopefully add the redundant HTML pages after I see how you designed it, more than likely...
As for how you deliver the Google Sheets data to the HTML Site is most likely at your discretion (since I am a noob, but I would like consideration of the following, but not limited to:
1. A fast way to pull the data (could be like 300 rows) to the site everytime a user refreshes it.
2. Framework that offers more compatibility is nice.
3. Framework/Webapps that save me time during periodical updates
I have done some messing around with python/django/flask, I really like what they have to offer but I am not proficient in these, and struggle with google sheets and MySQL . Could MySQL store every data piece of data that was ever scraped in Google Sheets? because data should be changing at least every week, and I would like to start building a solid database with this good data we are scraping.
So whatcha think? I ranged it at medium project to be fair (in my opinion). Please feel free to bring this up.
